We Preach
We Preach
Ephesians 3:8 (NIV)
8"Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ…”
Inspiring worship is more than just singing our favourite hymns and songs of praise. It is more than just gathering with people who are like us and express themselves in ways that suit our preferences. The Word of God is proclaimed at CCC each Sunday morning at 10 am with relevance and application to real life. As the Holy Spirit leads, the Word of God does its work in the hearts of the hearers, wherever they may be.
Jesus said in John 15:16 (NIV):
16 "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you”.
At CCC we approach the sharing of God’s Word with trust that the Spirit of God is already at work drawing people to God (John 6:44). The Word of God articulates and brings clarity to what is already being experienced in the lives of the hearers.
In the book of Romans 10:14-15 (NIV) are found these words:
14"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news“.
To help you respond to the prompting of God’s Holy Spirit in your life, we want you to hear the gospel (good news).
Connect on line or in person and you’ll come to value the preaching of the Word more deeply.
My grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9)

"...There was given to me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness". Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Chirst's power may rest on me."
